101 year old Mary Jean (Merideth) Arrandale, and beloved wife of the late Sidney William Arrandale of Moberly, Missouri, died on January 4, 2017. Mrs. Arrandale was a resident of The Bluffs in Columbia, MO. She was the dear mother of William (Cathie) of Grandview, MO, Robert (Kathy) of Webster Groves, MO, James (Jane) of Grandview, MO, Thomas (the late Kathy) of Twin Peaks, CA, Sarah and Mary Arrandale of Boonville, MO, and fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. Mary Jean was reared on the Merideth farm in Columbia, MO along with nine siblings. Surviving are brothers Joe Merideth of San Marino, CA and George Merideth of Millersburg, MO. The loving and gentle Centenarian was a 1932 graduate of Hickman High School in Columbia, MO where her husband, Sidney, also graduated in 1928. A Funeral Service will be held at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 616 Jackson Street, Columbia, MO on Wednesday, January 11, at 11:30 a.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Moberly, MO.
