Daughter of Daniel & Sarah (Colgan) O'Brien. Lenora Teresa O’Brien, daughter of Mrs. Sadie O’Brien died at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Colgan, in this city early last Sunday evening, after an illness of about six weeks duration. The cause of death was Bright’s disease. Miss O’Brien had been brought from her home at Camp Grove to her grandmother’s home in this city a few days prior to her death that she might have the benefit of more frequent visits from the attending physician. Lenora Teresa O’Brien was born Nov. 10, 1903 and passed into eternity at the twilight hour Sunday, May 21, her soul fortified by the last sacraments of the Catholic church, whose teaching she loved so well. She was the second daughter of Daniel (deceased) and Sadie O’Brien. By her pure and simple life, her friendly disposition and her unfaltering devotion to those she loved she won the love and respect of all who knew her. To the teaching of her church she was very faithful, and hers was a true Christian life, striving always to follow the precepts of her Lord. She was a member of the Sodality society. Lenora obtained her education at the Camp Grove school. She leaves to mourn her untimely death her mother, Mrs. Sadie O’Brien, one sister, Evelyn, two brother, Arthur and Lawrence, and her grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Colgan of Wyoming, at whose home her death occurred. She is also survived by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas O’Brien, and by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services were held yesterday morning at 9:30 o’clock, at St. Patrick’s Catholic church, Camp Grove, with Rev. Fr. Walsh and Rev. Fr. O’Brien in charge. Burial was in Camp Grove cemetery.
