Son of Daniel Patrick O'Brien & Sarah Felecia "Sadie" Colgan, 2nd husband of Dorotha Malone Janssen (1915-2014), m. Apr 11, 1964 in Camp Grove, Illinois. Obituary Lawrence V. O’Brien, 71, of Toulon died Saturday, Feb. 14 at his home. Born Jan. 22, 1910 in Camp Grove to Daniel and Sarah Colgan O’Brien, he married Dorotha Malone Janssen in April 1964. He was a farmer in the Camp Grove area until retiring in 1974 and moving to Toulon. He was a World War II Air Force veteran and a member of Knights of Columbus 4059 in Wyoming. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and the Marshall-Putnam Farm Bureau. Surviving are his wife; one brother, Arthur of Henry; three stepchildren; three nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Services were Tuesday at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Father John Thua officiated. Burial was in Camp Grove Cemetery. Wyoming Post Herald, Feb. 18, 1981.
