Bio

Georgie F. Kozlovsky, 78, of Ennis, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014, in Ennis, Texas. Visitation will be from 5 to7 p.m., with a Rosary at 6 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, October 27, 2014, at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father John Dick as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph's Cemetery in Ennis. Georgie was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Louis and Frances (Belha) Slovacek. Georgie was a life time member of the Catholic Daughters and Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church, where she married Louis Kozlovsky on July 6, 1957. She had a special devotion to our Blessed Mother and devotedly prayed the Rosary. Georgie loved playing Bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Kozlovsky; a daughter, Frances Ann Kozlovsky; a sister, Emily Marusak and a brother, Louis Slovacek. Survivors include sons: Gary Kozlovsky and his wife, Julie, of Mesquite, Kenneth Kozlovsky and his wife, Debra, of Ennis, and Jimmy Kozlovsky, of Ennis; daughter, Rosemarie Cooke and her husband, David, of Ennis; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers: Joe Slovacek and his wife, Charlene, of Ennis, Albin Slovacek and his wife, Lillian, of Ennis, and John Slovacek and his wife, Anna, of Ennis; sisters, Mary Foitek and her husband, Jerry, of Ennis, and Margie Kozlovsky and her husband, Charles, of Waxahachie; other relatives and many friends.
