Bio
Beran, Carl of Taylor. Age 78. Died on Wednesday June 14, 1989, in Johns Community Hospital. Services held on Saturday, June 17, 1989 at Condra Memorial Chapel. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. Rev. Robert Letalien officiated. He was born on March 29, 1911, living in Taylor area most of his life. He was employed by Kerr-Ban for 13 years before his retirement. Member of St.Paul Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by wife, Albina Agnes Polasek on November 10, 1980, and three brothers. Survivors: Daughter and husband, Nancy & Tom Kemper of Georgetown; five sons and wives, Carl and Carolyn Beran of Thrall, Donald and Joyce Beran, Larry and Sharon Beran, Jimmie and Diana Beran, Gary and Bertha Beran, all of Taylor; three sisters, Agnes Catchings, Frances Biehle of Thorndale, and Sophie Beran of Longview; three brothers, Tony Beran of Bastrop, Pete Beran, Bill Beran of Thorndale; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
