WHITE SETTLEMENT - Ervin "Pod" Podsednik, 75, a retired ice deliveryman, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 1997, in White Settlement. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Rosary: 4 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Visitation: 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials: St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church Building Fund. Ervin Podsednik was born Nov. 8, 1921, in Tours, Texas, and had lived in White Settlement since 1950. He was retired from Riverside Ice. He was a World War II veteran and was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors: Wife of 51 years, Mary Podsednik of White Settlement; sons, Augie J. Podsednik and his wife, Judy, and Michael J. Podsednik and his wife, Cindy, all of White Settlement; daughters, Catherine Hart and her husband, Jim, of River Oaks, and Charlotte Podsednik of White Settlement; brother, Richard A. Podsednik and his wife, Tina; sister-in-law, Laura Podsednik; grandchildren, David and Patrick Podsednik, James W. Hart, Mary McLellan and her spouse, Chris, Katrina White and her spouse, Mark, Karen de la Garza and her spouse, Pachis, Jamie John Podsednik and Emily Podsednik; great-grandchild, Chelsea White; stepgreat-grand-children, Jessica, Mickey and Zachary; and numerous nieces and nephews.
