Enlisted in Dallas, TX. Rank of Private. Term of enlistment, duration of the War plus 6 months. ------------------- FORT WORTH – William August Podsednik, Sr., 67, of Fort Worth, formerly of Tours, died Saturday at a local hospital. Mr. Podsednik was born June 29, 1916, in Tours. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, the Rev. Publius Xuereb as celebrant. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Loretta Podsednik of Fort Worth; four sons, William A. Podsednik Jr., Gary E. Podsednik and Ronnie J Podsednik, all of Fort Worth, and Tommy J. Podsednik of Odessa; two daughters, Kathy M. Abbott of Fort Worth and Linda C. Elkins of Dallas; two brothers, Richard Podsednik and Ervin Podsednik, both of Fort Worth; and 10 grandchildren. Harveson and Cole Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
