FORT WORTH--Richard A. Podsednik Sr., 84, an aircraft mechanic, passed away Friday, May 2, 2003, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Rosary: 7 p.m. Sunday in the Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Pallbearers: Gordon, Martin, Pam and Chris Phillips, Lorien Collins, Joshua and Matthew Hutcheson and Rocky Pina. Richard was born March 12, 1919, in Leroy. He had been a resident of Fort Worth since 1947. He enjoyed bingo, dominoes and card games. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by all. Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Celestine Podsednik; brothers, Victor Podsednik, William Podsednik, Ervin Podsednik; parents, August and Matilda Podsednik; and son-in-law, Raymond Doty. Survivors: Children, Marie Bucy and husband, Darrell of Huntsville, Patricia Phillips and husband, M.L., Evelyn Doty, Richard A. Podsednik Jr. and wife, Charlotte, Marcella Collins and husband, Tom, Randolph Podsednik, all of Fort Worth, LaVerne Hill and husband, Jerry of Weatherford, Annette Hutcheson and husband, Ronnie of Benbrook, Daniel Podsednik of Las Cruces, N.M., Pod Podsednik of Fort Worth and Sandy Rogers of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Phillip, David, Robert, Jeff, Brian, Gordon, Martin, Pam, Chris, Kim, Jeremy, Gregory, Lorien, Kevin, Kim, Holly, Joshua, Matthew and Jared; sisters-in-law, Mary Podsednik, Laura Podsednik and Ruby Jansky; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
