Bio
Ernest Adolf Stiba, Sr. was born on August 21, 1925 to John and Victoria (Mikeska) Stiba at Rices Crossing, Texas. Ernest proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He married Dorothy Miller on January 9, 1949 at the Taylor Brethren Church. This marriage was blessed with four wonderful children. Ernest was a life long member of the Taylor Brethren Church. Ernest grew up in a farming family and drove a truck delivering gas to other farmers. He farmed from 1946 until the 1970's. He loved farming, raising cattle and was the epitome of hard work. He was a quiet, spiritual person who loved his family above all. He was a very active grandfather who loved all the time he got to spend with his grandchildren, each knowing the special place they held in his heart. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Randy Stiba; David Stiba; a brother, John Stiba and sister-in-law, Charlotte Stiba; a sister, Thelma Boudny and brother-in-law, Alfred Boudny. Ernest is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Stiba, son, Ernest Stiba, Jr. and wife, Beverly; daughter, Debbie Spence and husband, Lange; daughter-in-law Shary Stiba; sisters, Lydia Kaspar and husband, Tony; Ruth Guist; Inez Schradar and husband, Don; five grandchildren, Randa and Chad Schwarz; Eric Stiba; Ryan Stiba; Blake Spence; Elissa Stiba; and several nieces and nephews. *********************************************************** Children: Randall "Randy" Wayne Stiba (1953 - 2003)* David Samuel Stiba (1956 - 2003)
