"UNCLE BUD" CATHEY DIES Succumbs From Cerebral Hemorrhage at Home Yesterday--Services This Afternoon David Osle Cathey known by a number of Haytians as "Uncle Bud" died at his home here yesterday July 4, from a cerebral hemorrhage. He was approaching 69 years of age. Funeral services were scheduled to be held at the Valhalla Chapel in Hayti this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. The deceased who was formerly City Marshall of Hayti, was born August 17, 1877 in Gibson County, Tenn. Those surviving are: Mrs Maggie Cathey, the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Linnie Askley and Mrs. Dora Miller of Hayti, and Mrs. Grace Kotrlik of Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister Mrs. Fannie Cofer of Jackson Tenn., and three grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
