Bio
Dora Lee Miller, 88, passed away February 1,1996 in Caruthersville. Born June 10, 1996 in Hayti, she is the daughter of the late David and Maggie Cannon Cathey. She was a member of the Dry Bayou Baptist Church and was a devoted housewife ad mother. She was united in marriage to Marvin Miller on March 19, 1929 at Caruthersville, he preceded her in death November 19, 1974. She was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and James Wilson of Hayti; three granddaughters, Carolyn Brune of Sedgewickville, Mo., Margaret Wilson of Hayti and Cathy Brazier of Hayti; three great grandchildren, Jennifer Gunnels, Jared Brazier and Tyler Brune, and a host of other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. in the John W. German Funeral Home. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti. Pallbearers were Bob Lenox, Harold Jackson. Robert Plunk, Jimmy Lee Wilson, Martin Ray and Bobby Irions. John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of services. Democrat Argus - Caruthersville, Missouri - February 9, 1996
