Eldest daughter of Capt. Robert Cooper and his wife, Jane Hamilton. Possibly born in New Jersey where her parents married of S. C. She assisted the Continental Army by furnishing supplies to the soldiers. She married John Patton and they had 6 sons. probably buried at Fishing Creek with her father, Capt Robert Cooper.
