Bio

Henry Clay Tarpley was born 1878, in Farmers' Branch, Dallas County, Texas to Mary Frances Shrader Tarpley and Sterling Lake Tarpley (both buried in Bethel Cemetery in Frisco, Collin County, Texas). His wife Mary Duncan Tarpley is also buried in Bethel Cemetery in Frisco, Collin Co., Texas. He had been traveling and arrived sick at his brother, Carl's home in Quay Co., New Mexico, where he died. Clay as he was called, had four children, Jennings Palmer Tarpley (a veteran of both WWI & WWII), Irene Tarpley, Melvin Meredith Tarpley, and Mary Louise Tarpley.
