Fort Bend Herald, June 5, 2006: A memorial service for LaNelle Lavinia Motl Hamm will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2006, in the chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B. F. Terry Blvd. in Rosenberg, with the Rev. Byron Williamson officiating. LaNelle Lavinia Motl Hamm was born on her Grandpa Motl's farm near Tankersly, March 8, 1933, the fifth child of eight to Livie Marie and L. C. Motl Sr. She passed away May 31, 2006 in Needville. LaNelle was retired from Retail Concepts, Inc. in Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents; her youngest son, Robert Hamm; a brother and two brothers-in-law. LaNelle is survived by her son, Charles Hamm, and his wife, Lajuana; granddaughters: Brooke Marie Hamm, Lisa Marie Eaker, Paige Marie Hamm, April Mae Burns, and Samantha Paul; grandsons: Jole Hamm, David Benjamin Hamm, and Robert Heath Hamm; great-grandsons: Andrew Charles Hamm, Colton Allen Eaker, Jonathan and Sean, Seth and Ian Jones; great-granddaughters, Amaris Jones and Shelby Hamm; two brothers and four sisters, along with numerous other family members and friends. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B. F. Terry Blvd. in Rosenberg. 281-341-8800.
