Herald Coaster, March 20, 1989: Funeral services for Beulah Rogers Reeh, 79, of Needville, were held 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 20, at First Christian Church in Rosenberg. The Rev. John Oliver officiated, with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Reeh died Friday at Methodist Hospital in Houston. She was a lifetime member of First Christian Church and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Survivors include her husband, Melvin E. Reeh, of Needville; two daughters, Wanda Edwards and her husband, Jim, of Lake Jackson, and Patsy Ansel and her husband, Walter, of Rosenberg; a sister, Dorothy Pierce of Palestine; a brother, Jack Rogers of Brazoria; four grandchildren, Lynn Rosenbaum, Mark Ansel and his wife, Stephanie, Brett Ansel and his wife, Margo, and Wanda Roof and her husband, Randy; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kirk Edwards, in 1982. Pallbearers were Mark Ansel, Brett Ansel, Randy Roof, Stephens Collins, H.B. Rogers, Ben Charles Reeh, Ben Volbaum, and Roger Fryou. Honorary pallbearers were director of Fort Bend Federal Savings and Loan Association. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Rosenberg or to a favorite charity. Services were under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors in Rosenberg.
