Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent Saturday, January 13, 1996 CRETE--Rose Belohlavy, 78, of Crete died Thursday, Jan. 11, 1996, at the Crete Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Crete. She was born on May 16, 1917, in Saline County to Joseph and Bessie (Kysela) Karl. She married Lumir Belohlavy. He preceded her in death. She was a seamstress for Formfit of Crete. Survivors include a son, Dennis Belohlavy of Grand Island; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Karl of Crete; and a sister, Evelyn of Crete.
