Bio

Mariah was born in Shelby County, Kentucky the daughter of James and Mary Eakin Roney on December 15,1814. She was the sixth of fourteen Children. On October 23,1832 she married William Peyton Moore in Jonathan Creek, Shelby County, Illinois. Peyton was born in Clark County, Kentucky the son of William and Sarah Calvert Moore. Peyton was the sixth of six children born to Sarah. Sarah died ans Peyton's father married next to Susannah and had eight more children. On October 10,1832 Peyton married Mariah Roney near Jonathan Creek, Shelby County, Illinois.
