The Randolph Toiler NEWSPAPER ABSTRACTS FROM "THE RANDOLPH TOILER", Wedowee, Randolph County, Alabama NEWSPAPER Issue of Thursday, November 28, 1895 Mr. Anderson Clemons of Fredonia, Chambers County, was found in a dying condition on Thursday near one of the farms he owns on Corn House Creek in this county. He passed through Roanoke on Monday in a road cart on his way to see about his property as stated, and it is supposed that his horse ran away, from bruises found on his head and body, and from the position in which it was found. The accident is supposed to have occurred Monday night and was not found till the afternoon on Tuesday when he was speechless. He died late Tuesday evening. Mr. Clemens was a brother-in-law of Mr. Robert Gay, was well known and had many friends in this county and is spoken of as one of the best men. *********** Name: Anderson Clemmons Gender: Male Burial Place: Fredonia, Ala.
