Spouse: Hazel JUDY Wyatt Father: Albert Wyatt Mother: Lucy HARKINS Wyatt Cyrus Latten Wyatt, 60, died suddenly Saturday morning, July 12, at his home eight miles north of Mound City, following a heart attack. He had been in failing health for several months. Mr. Wyatt was born Oct. 5, 1908 at Weber, Kan., a son of Albert and Lucy Wyatt. He became a member of the Presbyterian Church as a young man. On Feb. 28, 1933, he was married to Miss Hazel Judy of Mound City. They resided in Kansas until July 24, 1934, when they returned to Missouri. They have lived 35 years in their present home. His father, mother and four brothers preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, Hazel, three brothers, John Wyatt, Marquette, Iowa, Hewlie Wyatt, Superior, Neb., and Albert Wyatt, Kimball, Minn.; four sisters, Mrs. June Hinkson, Kent, Wash.; Mrs. Birdie Blair and Mrs. Carrie Rothchild, Mankato, Kan., and Mrs. Margaret Edwards, Craig. Services were conducted by the Rev. Jerry Witt at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, July 15, in the Pettijohn & Crawford Funeral Home. Interment was in the Maitland Cemetery. Leroy Andes, Harold Thompson, Kenneth Nauman, Phil Close, John Laukemper and Gleen E. Nauman served as pallbearers. Source: Mound City News-Independent, Thursday, July 17, 1969. Page 1.
