Bio

Nancy Lee Urban, 51, of Ord passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Health System in Kearney. Ms. Urban was cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014, at the Ord Memorial Chapel. Reverend Trever Rook will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Douglas Grove Cemetery at Comstock. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Nancy was born October 4, 1962, at Loup City, Nebraska to Rudolph and Pauline (Vohnout). Nancy made her home in Ord and was involved at Mid Nebraska Individual Services. She had many friends there, which were her family. Nancy became very close to her caregivers, Alice and Lynda and the entire staff and MNIS. She will be remembered for her great hugs and kisses. Nancy loved unconditionally and was a wonderful judge of people. Nance enjoyed "Dancing with the Stars"; M&M's, Christmas gatherings and Christmas songs. She loved family gatherings and her family loved having her there to help celebrate. Survivors include her siblings, Rose (Mrs. Marvin) Sorensen of Grand Island, Ray and Sandy Urban of Lexington, Bob and Gena Urban of Cozad, Arnold Urban of Leander, TX, Joyce Urban of Omaha, Louis Urban of Lincoln, and James and Celia Urban of Grand Island; a host of friends, nieces and nephews; and extend family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Rudolph.
