Bio

Deak was the son of John Clinton and Nancy Cornelia (Haralson) Simmons. He married Kate McCullough in 1895 and they had twelve children: Dora Nella (twin), Zora Ella (twin), Irene, Louan, Eula, Beulah, Julius Clinton, Maggie Hester, Ethel, Eura Odessa, Olen Emma and Grace Olive.
