Bio
Norton was the sixth of seven children born to William M. and Nancy Ann (Christmas) McCullough. He married Mattie Lee McIntosh in 1936 and they had three children: Carole Jane, Jerry and Charles F. Brownwood, TX October 2, 1984 Norton McCullough Services for Norton McCullough, 72, of 2405 Austin Ave., Brownwood will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Davis-Morris Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Aduddell officiating. Burial will be at Greenleaf Cemetery, with Davis-Morris Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. McCullough, retired owner and operator of Norton McCullough Body Works in Brownwood, died at 2:20 p.m. Monday at Brownwood Regional Hospital after a 1 1/2 year illness. Born July 17, 1912 in Mills County, he married Mattie Lee McIntosh August 16, 1936 in Brownwood. He had lived 72 years in Brownwood and was a member of Coggin Avenue Baptist Church, The Outlaws Sunday School class and Knights of Pythias Lodge. Survivors include his wife: a daughter, Carol Jane Carpenter of Stillwater, Okla.; two sons, Jerry of Arlington and Charles F. of Dallas; two sisters, Talma Blake of Stephenville and Lillian Cole of Cleburne; and five grandchildren.
