Nancy was the daughter of Benjamin S. and Mary (Shepherd) Christmas. She married William M. McCullough in 1897 and they had seven children: Letha Rella, Otto Layvelle 'O.L., Eva Hortense, Geneva Josephine, Lillian Eugene, William Norton and Talma.
