Bio

JE Dice, age 82, of Lewisville, passed away April 28, 2014 in Flower Mound. JE was born June 25, 1931 in Enos, OK to Frank Earl and Jessie Lee Dice. He graduated from Kingston High School in 1950 and joined the Army in 1952. He was stationed in Killeen and was honorably discharged in 1954. JE was employed by LTV Vought Corporation from 1957 to 1989. He was promoted to Foreman in 1984 and was a member of the UAW Local 848. JE's childhood was spent in Willis, OK and he also resided in Killeen, Fort Worth, Dallas, and Lewisville. JE married Eva Joy Dice, September 23, 1961 in Dallas, Texas. He enjoyed many hobbies including, fishing, vacationing in Colorado, working on cars, woodworking, reading and watching westerns. JE was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Narvan D. Dice and sister, Maryon E. Hampton. JE is survived by his wife, Eva Joy Dice of Lewisville; son, William Earl Dice of Lewisville; daughter, Tina Hale and her husband, Gary of Flower Mound; grandchildren, Seth Dice of Lewisville and Joshua Hale of Flower Mound; sisters, Delois Dice of Madill, OK and Rita Gustofson of Sadler, TX and brother, Frank Leon Dice of Cumberland, OK; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:30AM, Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Visitation will be from 10:00AM to 11:30AM prior to the start of the service. JE will be laid to rest with military honors at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery following the service.
