William "Bill" Eugene Scott, 72, of Chalk Bluff, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005 at his residence with his wife and three children by his side. Services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 2, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery. William was born in West, Texas, to the late Willie Lee and Willie Mae (Uptmore) Scott. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He also worked for Bell Helicopter in Arlington and retired after 33 years. Bill was baptized at St. Mary's Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping throughout his life. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, June Scott; daughter, Delynn Scott; sons, Byron Scott and wife, Mary, and Eldon Scott and wife, Janet; five grandchildren; mother, Willamena Black; sisters, Era Mae McFalls, Patsy Webb, Sylvia Gaylor, Yvonne Webb; brothers, Jesse Scott, Donald Scott, David Scott, Tex Wayne Black; and numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
