Bio

Mary Lou "Molly" BILES was born on November 9, 1857 in Gasconade County, Missouri to William J. BILES & Rebecca J. WALTON BILES. By 1880 the family had moved to Bell County, Texas where her father was a farmer. She married Thomas Jefferson MOORE about 1879 in Bell County, Texas. Both of her children, Arthur Allen MOORE Sr. and Eric Christopher MOORE were born and raised there before she and her husband moved to New Mexico where they lived until her death on February 17, 1923. The funeral home record indicates that $50 was paid for the family plot and an additional $5 for her grave and that she died of "Sleeping Sickness".
