Bio

Louis J. Kolar, 90, of Waco, passed away Saturday, Oct. 10, 2005 at Providence Park in Waco. Mr. Kolar was born May 10, 1915 in Hill County, the son of Emil and Josephine (Sulak) Kolar. He attended schools in West and Aquilla. On Oct 15, 1940, he was united in marriage to Ellen Wedeking in Waco. She preceded him in death on July 5, 1997. Louis was a truck driver for several propane companies, including Startex Propane in Waco for 37 years, before retiring in 1980. He was a longtime and active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead. Louis was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and K.J.T. Society No. 18 both in Bellmead, and the R.V.O.S. Lodge. He enjoyed volunteering at Geneva Hall and Caritas. Louis loved gardening and fishing.
