Georgia Pustejovsky, 91, of Abbott, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008 in West. A rosary will be recited and Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home. Georgia was born in Hill County, Texas, to the late Emil and Josephine (Sulak) Kolar. Georgia attended Alligator School and graduated from Aquilla High School. On November 23, 1937 she was united in marriage to John J. Pustejovsky in West. Georgia was a homemaker and worked for Aquilla I.S.D. as a cook for several years. She enjoyed cooking, working in her flower garden, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott where she served on the Altar Society. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court No. 829 and K.J.Z.T. Society No. 104. She was preceded in death by her husband on August 21, 1997; sons, Rev. Bernard Pustejovsky, Ronnie Pustejovsky, and Dennis Ray Pustejovsky; daughter, Janice Kay Pustejovsky; brothers, Louis Kolar, Henry, Kolar, and Milton Kolar; and a sister, Lucille Schroeder. Survivors include a daughter, Myra Jernigan, of Dallas; sons, Erwin Pustejovsky and wife, Rita, of Combine, James Pustejovsky and wife, Dorothy, of Ennis, and Gary Pustejovsky and wife, Betsy, of Sunnyvale; daughter-in-law, Delma Sue Pustejovsky, of West; sisters, Josephine Meinzer, of Dallas and Adele Matus, of Bellmead; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
