Bio

John Thomas taught school for a while and then took up photography. He had a shop in his brother, Fred's store. After Fred moved he gave up photography and farmed the family place and took care of his mother until her death during the flu epidemic in 1918. He and Stella moved their family to Scurry County, TX, in 1924. He farmed there and moved to Snyder in 1940. He moved to Littlefield in 1944, where he lived until his death in 1966. Stella lived to be 98, passing away in 1981.
