Thanks to contributor #47643415 Thomas V. Jackson died September 21, 1917 at his home in Fullerton Nebr., he was born in Jefferson county, Iowa near Fairfield, on May 10, 1854 aged 63 years, 4 months and 11 days. At the age of 16, he moved to Marion county, Iowa and lived there until his marriage to Mary E. Garrison after 10 years residence there he moved west to Dundy county, Nebraska, resided there for 10 years then moved to Fullerton, Nebr., where he lived the remainder of his life on earth. To this union were born 9 children, all are living, he is the first to be called from his home. Three years ago he was stricken with paralysis and was a constant sufferer until last Tuesday night at 11:00 o'clock. He was taken with his fatal stroke lying unconscious until Friday night at 10:00 o'clock when his loving Saviour called him away with his loved ones beyond. He had 5 brothers, 3 sisters, father and mother, his twin sister Mrs. Matt Scott, still living at Geneva, Nebr. He is survived by his wife and nine children and twenty-three grand children. He was a loving husband and kind father and will be greatly missed by his loved ones. He was laid to rest in the Riverside cemetery (later named Fullerton Cemetery..
