Fort Bend Herald, September 9, 2011: A memorial service for Mickey Gragert, loving mother and grandmother, 78, of Rosenberg, Texas, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2011, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. She was born April 26, 1933 in Guy to Bill and Katie Emma (Miller) Gragert. She passed away September 7, 2011 in Brookshire. Mickey is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Katie Gragert; and her brother, Will Gragert. She is survived by her daughters, Sandy K. Guidry and husband, Richard, and Joann Zapalac and husband, Rick; grandchildren, Jason Guidry and wife, Monty, Grant Guidry and wife, Ashley, Blake Guidry, Eric Zapalac, and Lindsey Gizienski and husband, Andrew; great grandchildren, Grayson Guidry, Langley Guidry, and Reese Guidry; sister, Dorothy Jean Nordt and husband, L.C.; along with other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mickey's name to the Family Life Outreach Christian Center of which she was a founding member, 13003 Murphy Rd., A-2, Stafford, Texas 77477 or the Alzheimer's Association, Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter, 2242 W.
