She died of Carcinoma of stomach (stomach cancer) (Gastric) on 15 Apr 1941 in Asheville, Buncombe, North Carolina and was buried on 15 Apr 1941 in Lewis Memorial Park, Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina.
