Bio
Son of Gustav & Theresa (Greisen) Bernt. He attended District 25 Platte County School. On October 14, 1937, Raymond married Catheryn Good in Central City, Nebraska. He entered the US Navy and served during WWII from August 16,1944 to October 31, 1945. Raymond owned his own sheet metal business for over 20 years in Columbus before retiring to Jacksonville in 1988. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Jacksonville and a member of the Order of Eagles. Raymond is survived by: Son - Ronald (Connie) Bernt of Cabot, AR Son - John (Beth) Bernt of Columbia, MO Son - Gustaf (Linda) Bernt of Beebe, AR Daughter - Judy Davis of Jacksonville, AR Daughter - Donna Aldrich of Jacksonville, AR 11 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren Raymond was preceded in death by: Parents - Gustav and Theresa Bernt Wife - Catheryn Bernt Son - Raymond Bernt Daughter - Marie Bernt Daughter - Catheryn Bernt 2 Grandchildren - Ronna and Christopher Son-in-law - Ed Davis Son-in-law - John Aldrich
