Regis Watts at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church with burial in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. After 1 p.m. Sunday the body will lie in state at McKown Funeral Home, where rosary service is set for 7:30 p.m. and Scripture service at 8 p.m. Lifetime resident of Platte County, Mrs. Bernt died Friday in Morys Haven. She was born March 1, 1884 at Tarnov, daughter of Henry and Anna (Seberger) Greisen. She and Gust Bernt of Osceola were married Oct. 1, 1907 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, rural Platte Center. In Columbus, she was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, St. Ann Society and Christian Mothers. Six children survive: Mrs. Floyd (Madeline) Arasmith of Columbus; Martin of Hot Springs, S.D.; Louis, of Ralston; Mrs. Jim (Evelyn) Davis of LaMirada, Calif.; Raymond of Columbus; Mrs. Jack (Loraine) Cotie of Fairfax, Calif. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Anna Gilsdorf of Wheaton, Minn., Mrs. Helen Campbell of Las Vegas, Nev.; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter; sister, Sophie Diederich; brothers, Jack, Hilger, Jake, Frank, Max, Pete.
