Bio

Mrs. Lena Margaret Frank, 78, 1102 Republican, died Thursday morning at her home. She was born Sept. 8, 1884 in Pfeifer, Russia, and came to Topeka 71 years ago. She lived in Deerfield, Holocomb and Holton before returning here in 1950. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Her husband, Peter, died in 1937. Suvivors include two sons, William C., Omaha, Neb., and Henry, Wichita; two daughters, Miss Catherine Frank, 1102 Republican, and Mrs. Arthur Schalde, San Bernardino, Calif.; two brothers, George Eakes, Plains, and John Eakes, 549 Scotland; a sister, Mrs. John P. Schell, 3222 Munson, and one grandchild. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Hearth Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Altar Society Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. and parish Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Friday. Brennan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Topeka Daily Capital, 2/15/1963
