Mrs. Zeleny died at her home in Omaha, on Saturday, at 2:30 o'clock, having suffered an apopletic stroke that morning. Mary only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Roubal, was born in Bohemia on March 27, 1874 and was 65 years, 2 months, and 27 days of age at the time of her death. At an early age she came to the U.S. with her parents and in 1892 she married Jacob Zeleny at Plasi and they made their home on a farm adjoining Bruno until about 4 years ago, when they moved to Omaha to reside near their children. They were the parents of two daughters, Mrs. Mary (Ben) Hanson, Mrs. Anna (Mike) Bratetic, both of Omaha, and two sons, Emil, also of Omaha, and Fred, travelling representative for a Chicago Insurance firm, with headquarters in Kansas City, all of whom with their father survive. One brother John, preceded her in death about 4 years ago. All were present at the funeral except Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zeleny who had gone on a vacation to Colorado, and could not be located. They had stopped to see Mr. and Mrs. Zeleny just before leaving on their trip. Mrs. Zeleny was a kindly, happy woman, who devoted herself to her family. She enjoyed the friendship of her neighbors and many acquaintances, and will be missed by all of them. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved.
