People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), August 20, 1914, p. 3, col. 5 & 6 BRUNO Mrs. Roubal died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Jacob Zeleny, who lives near here, Friday. She was 78 years of age. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church Sunday afternoon August 16 at 2 o'clock services being conducted by Father Zalud. Deceased leaves to mourn her death five children, four sons and one daughter as follows: James Roubal of Red Cloud, John and Martin of Brainard, Joseph of Abie and Mrs. Jacob Zeleny of Bruno. Roubal, an old resident of this community, died on Friday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jacob Zeleny, with whom she had been making her home. She lacked but a few days of being 78 years of age. Five children survive her. They are Mrs. Jacob Zeleny of Bruno, Martin and John Roubal of Brainard, James Roubal of Red Cloud and Joseph Roubal of Abie. Funeral services were held in St. Anthony's church here Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and were conducted by Rev. Father Zalud. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery.
