Married (1) Ferdinand Houska on April 1, 1883 at Omaha, Nebr. by Rev. Fr. Kocarnik. Married (2) John Bierle on June 24, 1909 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, David City, Nebr. According to the 1885 census she was 24 years old, born Bohemia, and lived in David City with her first husband. In 1900 she was a washwoman, born November 1863 in Bohemia, had been married 17 years, was the mother of one child, one living, and lived in David City, Nebr. with her first husband. In 1920 she was 58 years old, born Bohemia, immigrated to the United States in 1870, naturalized 1878, and lived in David City with her second husband. In 1930 she was a widow, 68 years old, born Czechoslovakia, and was an inmate at the Hastings State Hospital near Hastings, Nebr. Anna and Ferdinand's son may have been named Jan (John). He died at a young age reportedly after falling into a tub of hot water.
