Columbus Telegram, Columbus, Nebraska Monday, June 13, 1983 FULLERTON - Irene McCurdy, 56, of Fullerton, died Friday at Lutheran Memorial Hospital in Omaha. Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Palmer Funeral Home in Fullerton, with Rev. Audrey Scott of United Methodist Church officiating. Burial is in Fullerton Cemetery... Mrs. McCurdy was born April 15, 1927, in Nance County, the daughter of Jonas and Eltha Holley (sic) Orender. She married Marvin McCurdy on Dec. 22, 1945 at Mankato, Kan. They lived the past 25 years in Grand Island, moving to Fullerton two months ago. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Marvin Jr. of Wood River and Donald and Dwight, both of Grand Island; a daughter, Linda (Mrs. Thomas) Huffman of Grand Island; her mother of Fullerton; a brother Keith Orender of Topeka, Kan,; two sisters, Dereath (Mrs. James) Pickrel of Fullerton and Mrs. Phyllis Shufeldt of Hoyt, Kan.; and 15 grandchildren.
