Herald Coaster, December 19, 1990: Graveside services for Floyd Bremer, 62, of Needville, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel United Church of Christ Cemetery in Needville. Rev. George Kuebler will be officiating. Mr. Bremer died Monday at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. Mr. Bremer was born Aug. 6, 1928 in Needville to Erich and Emma Tielke Bremer. He was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ. He also served in the Volunteer Fire Department and was a former Fort Bend County Justice of the Peace for 13 years. Survivors include his wife, Jean Bremer of Needville; mother, Emma Bremer of Needville; daughter, Denise Ralph of San Marcos; stepchildren, Michael Bomersbach of Houston, Brenda Deiss of Clear Lake, Sherry Lombard of Oklahoma, Troy Heaton of Pasadena, and Patty Heaton of Needville. Pallbearers will be Michael Bomersbach, Tommy Ward, Melvin Tielke, Elgin Tielke, Michael Bremer, and Alvin Oberhoff. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Garmany & Carden Funeral Home in Needville. Services are under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors, Inc.
