Bio

Herald Coaster, August 23, 1976: Funeral services for Erich O. Bremer, 71, of Needville were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Immanuel united Church of Christ in Needville, with the Rev. George Kuebler officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Services were under the direction of Garmany & Co. Funeral Home. Mr. Bremer died Aug. 20 in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the Needville Fire Department, the Needville Lions Club, and the Sons of Hermann Lodge, and Immanuel United Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Emma Bremer; three sons, Walter Bremer and Floyd Bremer, both of Needville, and Larry Bremer of Wisconsin; four grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Clara David, Mrs. Laura Schramme, and Mrs. Olga Blase, all of Rosenberg, Mrs. Anna Tielke of Needville, and Mrs. Lillie Lindemann of Sugar Land. Memorials may be made to the church.
