Bio

Arthur Meadows, 68, Thirty-eighth street and River boulevard, died Friday evening after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Clara Meadows; one son, Harry of Council Bluffs; five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Howell of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Lois Colton of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Bernice Vondra of Omaha, Mrs. Myrtle Shaw of Glendale, Calif., Betty Jane at home; ten grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Rolf of Council Bluffs; two brothers, George Meadows of Council Bluffs, and Victor Meadows of Council Bluffs. Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Tyler chapel. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill cemetery. Council Bluffs Nonpareil: May 20, 1944 Page Three
