EMMA MISEK 62, SERVICES MONDAY Services for Mrs. Emma D. Misek, 62, mother of Mrs. Evan E. Drozda was held Monday at St. Mary's Church in David City. Officiating was her son, Rev. Daniel J. Pohl of Lincoln. Burial was in the parish cemetery, David City. Mrs. Miscek died Friday at David City Hospital following a lingering illness. She was born Nov. 2,1905 at Loma, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Brum. She attended Brainard Catholic School. She was married to Alexander Pohl, November 20, 1923, in Dwight. He died in January 1954. She then was married December 27, 1956 to Albin Miscek in David City. Mr. Misek died in May of 1966 Mrs. Misek was a member of P.C.C.W., Catholic Daughters of America, and Butler County Garden Club. Pallbearers were Joe Brym, Emil Korinek, Ed Pohl, John Pohl, Stanley Masek and Raymond Smith. Survivors include the daughter, Dorothy, Mrs. Evan E. Drozda, 2 sons, Rev. Daniel J. Pohl, Lincoln and Raymond Pohl, Columbus and 8 grandchildren. A sister, Mary, also preceded her in death. Relatives attending were from St. Louis, Missouri, Julesburg and Denver, Colorado, Omaha, Lincoln, Seward and Howells From the Schuyler Sun, Schuyler, Nebraska, Thursday, November 7, 1968
