Bio

NOTE: Born 1882 not 1881. 1960 February 14 Emma Mary Rishel was born February 14, 1881 and died in Fullerton February 14, 1960 at the age of 70 years. She had been in poor health since a hip injury five years ago. She was married to John Wesley Jackson on June 24, 1899. To them were born three children, Vesta, Mrs. James Mahoney, Walter and Archie. Walter preceded her in death January 8, 1918. Her husband died January 8 1905 and left her the heavy responsibility of three small children. She accepted without complaint the burden life put upon her. On April 22, 1915 she married Rollin D. George. They lived on a farm west of Fullerton for a number of years before moving to Fullerton where he died January 8, 1914. She was a member of the Evangelical Church for many years. She leaves to mourn a son, Archie W. Jackson of Emmett, Idaho, a daughter, Mrs. Vesta Mahoney of St. Edward; ten grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Beaman & Palmer Funeral home in Fullerton, conducted by Reverend Hilmer Larson of Genoa on February 17 and burial was at Fullerton
