Bio

James was the son of John Eli & Martha Jane McPheeters Maudlin. On 27 November 1898, he married Oresta May Coverdell. They were the parents of nine children-Clida Agnes, John Franklin, Lodus Wayne, Volney Clements, Doris Belle, Woodrow Verne, Billy Gordon, James Willard, and Marion Joel.
