Bio

Doris Belle was the 5th child of James William and Oresta May Coverdell Maudlin. After the death of her mother she cared for her two younger brothers, Willard and Marion(Bud). She married Clarence Burns Nov.4,1940. They were the parents of three children- Jim, Sue Ellen(Jan. 7,1945-May27,1945) and Hattie May. After Clarence had a stroke and was paralyzed on his right side, they did everything togeather. Their garden was always immaculate, and they both held a special place in the hearts of their many neices and nephews.
