The Brainard Clipper (Brainard, Nebr.), September 6, 1928, p. 5, col. 2 Frank Bohuslavsky, Mrs. Helen Kobza and Mr. and Mrs. James Svoboda, of near Bellwood, drove to Cuba, Kas., last Thursday and visited in the Fred and Adolph Mazanec homes until Saturday. A new baby girl arrived at the Mazanec home Aug. 26. ''''''''''' The Brainard Clipper , February 21, 1929, p. 1, col. 4 Brought Here for Burial Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Mazanec of Colby, Kansas, arrived here Saturday with the body of their five months old daughter who died Feb. 14. Fred Mazanec accompanied them here. Funeral services for the child were conducted by Rev. Msgr. Klein at Holy Trinity church at 9 o'clock Monday morning and burial was in the Brainard Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Mazanec is the eldest daughter of Mrs. Helen Kobza of Brainard.
