Bio

QUANAH — Leo E. Zajicek, 94, formerly of Quanah, died Monday, March 30, 2015, in Houston. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Quanah Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home of Quanah. Mr. Zajicek was born Feb. 2, 1921, in Wilbarger County to Charlie and Treza Adam Zajicek. He married Juanita Skelton on Sept. 2, 1950, in Vernon. Survivors include a daughter, Diana Zajicek of Baytown; two sons, Charles Zajicek of Hurst and Leon Zajicek of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
