Bio

Herald Coaster, March 8, 1970: Funeral services for Henry W. Kainer, 76, were held at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Garmany & Company Funeral Home Chapel in Richmond with the Rev. Elton Elrod officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Kainer died Tuesday in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Moulton, he moved to Fort Bend County from Shiner in 1929. Mr. Kainer was a retired farmer and was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Edwin Kopycinski of Richmond; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Luedeke of Houston and Mrs. Hattie Nesrstr of Flatonia; two brothers, Bill Kainer of East Bernard and Leo Mueller of Rosenberg. Pallbearers were Harvey Hurta, P.F. Mahiezek, Wayne Poldrack, Larry Childers, Buck Childers and Edward Kopycinski. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Garmany & Co. Funeral Directors.
