Bio

Richard Lee Curbello ,78, of Gulf Park Addition , Freeport, Texas, passed away on July 23, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. He attended Freeport Schools. He was born September 8, 1926 to Robert Richard and Edna Carroll Curbello in Freeport, Texas. He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war he attended John Tarleton in Stephenville and the University of Houston. He is a Dow Texas Division retiree, where he last worked in the Polyethlene lab. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jean; son, David Alan Curbello; two grandsons, Ryan Curbello; Robert Curbello; two siblings, Ann Curbello Holt; Robert Ed Curbello . He was preceded in death by his dear son, Richard Paul Curbello; parents; sister, Alice Curbello Borel. Source:The Brazosport Facts Newspaper,07/25/2005
